Socials

The sisters of Phi Mu love to socialize, and we have an active social calendar!

One of the many benefits of joining Phi Mu is the opportunity to socialize with other Greek organizations and clubs through social functions.

Types of social functions include mixers and date parties, as well as our Semi-Formal and Carnation Ball (Formal).

We generally have social functions twice each month.

Mixers and date parties are normally themed socials at an outside venue with at least one other fraternity and/or sorority.

Some of the themes from our past mixers and date parties include our Annual Halloween Mixer, 80s in Aspen, BonnaMU, and a Famous Couples Date Party.

We also have our Semi-Formal in the fall and Formal in the spring at a local restaurant/venue in historic downtown Charleston!

These events are dressier than mixers/date parties and are only open to sisters and their dates.

As always, Phi Mu abides by all federal and state laws regarding drinking laws and driving laws. Phi Mu also abides by the College of Charleston and the city of Charleston COVID-19 regulations.

All of our social functions are under a mile from campus and sisters are not allowed to drive to functions, regardless of age, to ensure safety.

Alcohol is generally available at our social functions for sisters who are 21 or older but underage drinking is not tolerated.
