Alpha Kappa Chapter at College of Charleston

We encourage our members to form study groups and offer tutoring for difficult classes. We have recently re-vamped our scholarship program, which sets mandatory academic goals for all members. For example, we require all sisters to maintain at least a 2.8 semester grade point average to be considered in good academic standing for the following semester. Non-mandatory study hours with sisters are recorded and the ladies with the most hours at the end of the term get a pizza party! We also have incentives such as Starbucks and iTunes gift cards for those sisters with the highest midterm grades! Phi Mu helps our collegiate women strive for academic excellence while enjoying the other aspects of sorority life.
